Homework: H-68

H-73
Composition: make your song "go home" and decide what order you want it to go in (rough copy still) Going home is ending your song on the note that is the first note of the scale the song would be played in. Sounds confusing, but really all you are doing right now, because all their songs are written on only white keys in C Major, is figuring out the first note of C Major scale and ending on that note. That note would be C. This is a guideline and the cool thing that happens is that if your song started on C a retrograde would have it ending on C - kinda neat :)

Bit of extra explanation:
H-71
In class we color-coded the boxes at the bottom
(CG blue, BG red, CA green)
We then color-coded the notes on the staff
(the order would go blue, red, blue, green, blue, green, red, blue)
For homework you need to cut and paste them to the matching colors
We practiced just the left hand with bridges while the parents played the scale with their right hand. When we play we play it in great big whole notes (sleepy panda's) and sing the following:

"This is C with a C-G Bridge
This is D with a B-G Bridge
This is E with a C-G Bridge
This is F with a C-A Bridge
This is G with a C-G Bridge
This is A with a C-A Bridge
This is B with B-G Bridge
This is C with a C-G Bridge"
